An investment in FeLo & Co Theatrical Productions, is an investment in the future of the Performing Arts first in North Dallas and then in the Global Performing Arts Scene. The benefits will be felt NOW and in the not so distant FUTURE. The ARTS shape the CULTURE of our country.

Currently in Dallas, there are less than 5 professional theatrical venues big enough to accommodate a Broadway show. These venues are the AT&T Performing Arts Center which houses The Winspear Opera House which is used as a presenting house for Broadway shows, and includes Dallas Theatre Center's Wylie Theatre for shows actually produced by Dallas Theater Center, Dallas Summer Musicals in Fair Park, which brings in shows from NYC, and The Majestic Theatre which is also a presenting house for Broadway tours.  There are many excellent small professional theatres that dot the area, but none on a 1st Class scale.

Texas is the 9th largest global economic metropolis in the world and Dallas is the 9th largest city in the US and the third largest in Texas with a population of 1,241,162. There are over 22.6 million annual visitors to the City of Dallas, with 44.1 million visiting the larger Metro area.  It is home to six professional sports teams: The Dallas Cowboys (NFL); Dallas Stars (NHL); Dallas Mavericks (NBA); FC Dallas (MLS); Dallas Wings (WMBA), and the Texas Rangers (MLB) plus NASCAR and Indy racing. The area is also home to more than 200 golf courses.

Known for it's athletics, Dallas is not globally renown for it's artistic prowess.  This must change!

FeLo & Co Theatrical Productions wants to do something about this for the residents of the wonderful towns that make up the North Dallas Metro area such as Frisco, McKinney, Denton, Lewisville, Flower Mound, Allen, Plano and other towns North of Richardson.  Currently their main theatrical arts offerings are relegated to small community theatres with limited production values.  It is unfortunate that should a resident of one of these North Dallas towns want to go to see a "Broadway" show they are forced to drive over an hour in traffic, over 30 miles, to Downtown Dallas to catch their favorite shows.

North Dallas continues to expand and grow Northward at an amazingly quick rate.  It is therefore imperative that we build for the future as these towns grow into cities.  We feel that it is unacceptable that there is currently no professional Broadway quality theatre North of Richardson, so are taking on the mantle to build this production company (FeLo & Co Theatricals) AND advocate for a theatrical arts center — North Texas Broadway Theatres to be built and located somewhere in Far North Dallas.  This venue, slated to be a Benefit Corporation in the state of Texas, will be capable of accommodating a professional theatrical run of 4 weeks in duration that seats 1600+ patrons with a stage large enough to accommodate a full orchestra, stage automation, and 30+ actors, full on production lighting and sound packages.  We need to raise the hundreds millions of dollars it will take to put North Texas Broadway Theatres on the map so that Dallas will become the "third coast" as far as entertainment is concerned.
